AAPI Day of Action

SCOPE

  • Collaborated with colleagues at Almanac Beer Company to launch a Bay Area-wide day of action for businesses to take a stand against discrimination and hate targeting the Asian and Pacific Islander members of our community.

  • Created social media graphics, posters, and web graphics to promote the day.

  • Wrote and distributed a press release that garnered press attention from dozens of outlets and local news stations.

  • Networked with companies and nonprofits to enable meaningful participation from over 150 businesses.

In 2021, over 150 businesses participated in the Day Of Action, raising nearly $40,000 for nonprofits like AAPI Women Lead and Good Good Eatz.
